Requirements to be added to CVCA Breeder Referral

*The website is maintained by splitting costs amongst breeders using the breeder referral service. On
December 1st, an email will be sent to members, asking who plans to list on the service for the year.
Yearly fees will be determined at that time*

1. Apply for membership with the CVCA.

2. Sign and return a copy of the "CVCA Code of Ethics". You must agree to abide by ALL practices listed in the
Code of Ethics. Failure to do so will be grounds for removal from the "Breeder Referral List", and may also be
grounds for revocation of membership

3. Until April 1. 2012, the CVCA must be provided with this information
a. AKC/FSS registration numbers for parents of all listed litters

b. official healthy OFA, FCI or PennHip Hip Dysplasia results for parents of all listed litters
OFA = excellent, good, fair
FCI = A or B
PennHip = in the top 50th percentile FOR THE BREED)

c. official healthy OFA or FCI Elbow Dysplasia results for parents of all listed litters
OFA = Normal
FCI = (0/0)

d. healthy OFA or FCI Degenerative Myelopathy DNA results for parents of all listed litters, along with
healthy pairing of parents
(clear x clear, clear x carrier, clear x affected)

e. healthy CERF results for parents of all listed litters



After April 1. 2012
a. AKC/FSS registration numbers for parents of al listed litters or stud dogs
b. CHIC Number for each parent showing:
i.healthy OFA, FCI or PennHip Hip Dysplasia results for parents of listed litter
OFA = excellent, good, fair
FCI = A or B
PennHip = in the top 50th percentile FOR THE BREED)
ii. healthy OFA or FCI Elbow Dysplasia results for parents of listed litter
OFA = Normal
FCI = (0/0)
iii. healthy OFA or FCI Degenerative Myelopathy DNA results for parents of listed litter, along with healthy
pairing of parents
(clear x clear, clear x carrier, clear x affected)
iv. healthy CERF results for parents of listed litter

c. Online link to database of www.wolfdog.org (or emailed/paper copy of 4 generation pedigree for
dogs being bred)
